LEBANESE CRISIS NEEDS
Lebanon is currently enduring a profound and multifaceted crisis, compounded by the ongoing
war waged by Israel. This war has inflicted catastrophic damage on the country, resulting in the
deaths and injuries of thousands of civilians and the internal displacement of an estimated one
million people. The severity of this situation cannot be overstated, as it adds another layer to the
complex crises Lebanon has already been facing. Among the most vulnerable sectors is the
healthcare system, which has been struggling under immense pressure for years and is now
pushed to the brink as it suffers from the immediate and overwhelming needs of the war’s
victims.
